Predator win 3 - 2.

Updated Saturday January 23, 2016 by Dean Shill.

In a tightly contested game the difference came down to the strangest goals scored this year. With Owen sitting in the sin bin, Mark scored a shorthanded goal from the other end of the rink on what can only be described as a "Twilight Zone" goal. With the face off in our defensive zone, Mark got the puck and shot it down the ice to kill the penalty. However the opposing goalie was not paying attention and the puck proceeded to slie into the net while the goalie was just standing there! Scotiabank came back in the second period to tie it at the 7:11 mark. Brendan scored at 3:30 to re-establish the lead by the end of the second period. Michael scored the eventual game winner at 8:26 of the third, but not before the opposing team scored again to bring it to a one goal lead with 5:20 to play. The Predator's defense stepped up and closed a hard charging Scotia Bank team before the game was called due to curfew with 1:52 remaining ot be played. Jackson and Chris each picked up an assist. Next game is this Friday January 22nd at 8pm at Carling Arena.
